A bit of history: MICHELIN and Formula 1

Michelin made its Formula 1 debut in 1977 and achieved its first victory with a radial tire as early as 1978, at the Brazilian Grand Prix with Ferrari. In 1979, Michelin secured its first world titles with Ferrari and Jody Scheckter. After an initial period lasting until 1984, the brand returned to F1 from 2001 to 2006. In total, Michelin claims 102 Formula 1 victories, 111 pole positions, and five Drivers' world titles.
